Permanent orienteering course at Dumaresq Dam
NTOC has installed a permanent orienteering course at Dumaresq Dam for the benefit of the community and visitors to Armidale.
The course does a leisurely circuit around the dam with relatively easy navigation. It is about 2.8 km in length and should take no more than 1 hour to complete at walking pace. A compass may be used if you have one but is not essential.
Maps are available from the Armidale Visitors Information Centre (82 Marsh Street).
Apart from that, all
you need is a pencil to tick off the control points as you find them.
